TANGO Classes

Currently Argentine Tango group classes are held on:

Wednesday evening in Prahran

Thursday evening in Caulfied South

Saturday evening before the milonga in Prahran

Sunday afternoon in Prahran

Details of classes are listed below.

Private dance lessons for those wanting to dance Argentine tango socially or for a special event (for example a wedding), are available for individuals, couples or groups, by appointment (refer to the Contact Details page for phone numbers etc).

Please note the following for all dance classes:

Shoes: It is recommended that leather soled shoes be worn and that women wear t-bar or shoes with a strap.

Partners: Are not required.

TANGO TAMBIEN INTRODUCES "TANGO PLAYSCHOOL"

General level class Argentine Tango

Classes in this new venue will commence Thursday 5th August, 2010.

On the 5th August:

the doors will open at 7:00pm for registration and the class will run from 7:15 - 8:15pm. 

From the 12th August onwards as follows:-

7:00 - 8:00pm Every Thursday

Learn both the basic and more advanced concepts of Argentine Tango (which includes Milonga and Vals).  How to lead or follow, musicality, the steps/patterns that prepare you for dancing socially and for more advanced workshops.

We are able to cater for all levels of dance experience, from those with no dance experience (or those who have not previously danced tango), for those with some dance experience and for those who with experience who want to learn more.

WEDNESDAY CLASSES

Beginners - Pre-intermediate Argentine Tango Class

7:00-8:10pm

Learn the basic concepts of Argentine Tango.  How to lead or follow, musicality, the steps/patterns that prepare you for more advanced classes.

Suitable for those with no dance experience (or those who have not previously danced tango) and for those with some dance experience.

Intermediate Advanced Argentine Tango Class

8:15-9:45pm

Having learnt the basic concepts of Argentine Tango you get to stretch yourself and your abilities.

Class cost: 

$15 Casual rate 

$150 for 10 classes which includes free entry to 1 Milonga & 1 Practica's (all to be taken within 3 months, payable in advance and non-refundable).
